Yelp's Home Away From Home - Benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern Nevada

When my wife was pregnant, we’d often be asked “Do you want a boy or girl?” and we would genuinely answer that it didn’t matter so long as he/she was healthy… but what if my child wasn’t healthy? Where do you go for help? One local answer is the Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern Nevada. They help house families with children receiving treatments at local hospitals.

We, at Reno Dads, want to help this excellent non-profit as much as we can. So please join us at this “free” event. There will be local chefs making some of their favorite comfort foods paired with libations at the Toll Brothers model homes in South Reno. $15 donation is strongly encouraged (more will be accepted) and the first 600 get a cook book with the recipes for all of the foods you’ll be eating.

RMHC (Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern Nevada) has been keeping families close in northern Nevada for 30 years! Their secret ingredient? A warm, welcoming, home away from home. And now we want to share that warmth with you!

INSIDE – Get comfy with our region’s top caterers as they take over nine Toll Brothers model homes, with nine culinary opportunities to experience the comfort families receive at the Reno Ronald McDonald House every day.

OUTSIDE – A vibrant block party awaits! Jam out to the sounds of Do Well Events, sink into seats in the RC Willey Lounge, and sample tasty bites and sips from local breweries and popular food trucks including Petite Street Mobile Bistro, and others to be announced soon!

TAKE IT TO GO** – Take the comfort home with you in a keepsake recipe book featuring heartwarming stories and recipes from participating chefs.

PARK IT LIKE IT’S HOT – All guests will arrive in style, courtesy of Eldorado Resorts and Atlantis Casino, with a short shuttle ride from RC Willey!
