Homemade Hot Chocolate Recipe & Tradition

Every family needs two things during the holidays: a great hot chocolate recipe and family traditions! Our family is a bunch of hot chocolate fiends during the holidays. Whatever event we are at we will find the hot chocolate. Usually, the hot chocolate is low quality thanks to quantity over quality needs, but that is alright! It is usually cold and we are always thankful someone is serving some hot chocolate.

But at home, it is a different story. There is always one of the those Williams-Sonoma hot chocolate mixes around, but sometimes we just have to go overboard and make the creamiest and best hot chocolate we can.

The below hot chocolate recipe is our over-the-top family drink tradition. Incredibly creamy and flavorful, this recipe should make for a solid family tradition in all of our households.
